Why, hello there!

Then and now: Not much difference, but I think the clothing has definitely gotten better!

Thanks so much for stopping by! We are Meg and Cole, best friends since 2010. Official adventurers since, well, last week! It all started with a love for North Carolina and the desire to fill our days with fun. We were getting so bored with the whole, "what do you want to do today?" "I don't know. Shop? Get lunch?" I mean, how lame is that? Don't get me wrong, we love shopping as much as the next two best friends do, but it just gets OLD. So we start brainstorming ideas of fun things to do that make more enjoyable memories. Well then we realize, as much as we love our beautiful home, we haven't really experienced much of it. It's weird because people from all over--even other countries--know things about NC that we (mainly me, Cole) had never seen. Whenever we tell people we're from NC they immediately say something like, "I love North Carolina! The Outer Banks are so beautiful!" And we just politely nod and agree like we know what we're talking about.

That's when the big idea came. We decided to dedicate this summer to finding, visiting, learning about, and loving every thing about this great place! Sure, we might not get to it all, but we are definitely going to try! After all, with grown-up things like college, jobs, and marriage ahead of us, who knows when we'll get to enjoy this beautiful place again. We have a list. We add constantly to said list. We have a plan to conquer the list. So please follow along on our wonderful summer of mountains, beaches, and all that lies in between as we discover our home!
